3 Solubility It is freely soluble in water, sparingly soluble in ethanol (90%).

5 Acidity or alkalinity Not more than 0.2 mL of 0.1 M sodium hydroxide or 0.1 M hydrochloric acid is required to change the colour of the indicator.
6 Halogenated compounds Not more than 200 ppm for ionised chlorine and not more than 300 ppm for total chlorine.
7 Loss on Drying Not more than 2.0%.
8 Assay Not less than 99.0% and not more than 100.5% (dried substance).

MOLBENZ® Na is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside having bar-coded label and tamper-evident seal.
